SAVE THE HEARTBEAT
2/7/15
The elegant evening will feature silent and live auctions, a gourmet dinner, guest speaker and entertainment, with all proceeds benefiting the Hopeful Hearts Foundation.

The inaugural Save the Heartbeat Gala has been inspired by our own story that began on November 27th 2013, when Remington Daniel Maloof was born. The expectation was that he was to be very healthy, but shortly after birth Remington was transported by helicopter to Children's Hospital Los Angeles and diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries. In that moment it was unknown if Baby Remy would survive the night. After an open heart surgery and several other brain surgeries that have followed, Remington and his family have joined forces with the Hopeful Hearts Foundation and are planning this event in honor of Remington and all the families battling CHD. We couldn't be more thrilled to host this event!

Location: Glendora Country Club in Glendora, California

NOAH'S Festival of Life
10/19/14 - Event Closed

Noah's Festival of Life originated in 2009 following her three open heart surgeries she underwent that year. She wished nothing more than to celebrate her homecoming with a carnival-like festival in her backyard full of games and cotton candy and among all of her friends and family. Noah's Festival of Life is a fundraising effort that includes a silent auction and raffle aimed to help heart families across the country with financial assistance.

Crossfit Mania to Benefit CHD
5/31/14 - Event Closed

On May 31st CrossFit Newport Beach hosted a fundraiser for Hopeful Hearts Foundation. They had over 100 guests do a WOD to help raise awareness of CHD and to help raise funds for our foundation. They had three heart families share their experience with having children with CHD and the impact it has made on their lives.

There was a childrens workout to start the event to emphasize the importance of exercise! Then we had 10 heats where all the participants were cheered on by their peers to finish the workout! We would like to thank Melissa Metzke(Owner of CrossFit Newport Beach) for helping us succeed in our goals and providing a taco cart for the atheletes.
Cal Poly Slo's Dance Marathon
2/22/14 - Event Closed

"I was stalking other Dance Marathons (typical) and found one at Penn State benefitting pediatric cancer that incorporates tons of fundraisers throughout the year ending with their ridiculously huge, 48-hour Dance Marathon. For a moment I was so jealous and wondered if it was their cause was more compelling than ours and if that's what makes it so great." - Cal Poly Hopeful Hearts President
